TRAVELOGUE : 5 Things to do in KL during your Transit !

welcome back to my blog...

It's MAY already, my month, my birthday is just a stone away, wohhooo so excited for getting old , yeah right ._.

Btw, last February I went to Vietnam with my friends, we used Air Asia to go to Kuala Lumpur and then continue to Hanoi the next day. Well, I think it's a common route for us from Indonesia to go abroad via Kuala Lumpur since it's more budget-friendly than the direct flight from Jakarta. So, before talking about Vietnam, let's go around during our transit in Kuala Lumpur !

1.  TRY NASI LEMAK

When you're going to Malay, you shouldn't miss it's signature Nasi Lemak for sure. It's served everywhere, even at the fast food restaurant like Wendy's, Mary Brown, etc. Well, my favorite has always been Mary Brown at KLIA 2 ! We never missed the chance for having lunch while here !

When it comes to food, I always forget to take some snaps of it -_- thank god we have selfie from back then,2 years ago, LOL.

2. GET ON THE BUS AND GO AROUND THE CITY FOR FREE

So, from KLIA 2 we headed to KL central  using a bus. From there we used MRT to go to Bukit Bintang. And then we went around using GO KL bus, such convenient way to get around because this bus provided not only free WiFi but also free cost too. We love anything FREE a.k.a percumaaa in Malay, hehe. This bus can take you around the heart of Kuala Lumpur.

3. SHOPPING !

If you are a make-up enthusiast or a fashion lover, you shouldn.t miss the shopping centers in KL. Most of them  are located in Bukit Bintang, like Pavilion, Berjaya, Sungei Wang Plaza and so on. You can find many brands from the luxury to the affordable goods. For make up there are some brands that are not available in my hometown, so gotta grab them while here. And for fashion items, one of  our favorite brand here is VINCCI, their products are way cheaper here than in Jakarta, if you want to buy them with duty free go to Sungei Wang Plaza branch and show your passport at the cashier.

4. MURAL PAINTING AND STREET SHOTS

So from Bukit Bintang we hopped on the purple bus to go to Petaling street, and just strolling around the market, taking pictures of the streets and of course many insta-materials detected! Here are some random shots I took around Petaling street.

5. STREET CULINARY

So, from Petaling , we headed back to Bukit Bintang and just spent the day hopping from one sore to another and finally we decided to stop by the Alor street to indulge the street culinary. I didn't get a chance to take more shots since my camera's battery died , hiks :") So here are some low quality shots taken only by phone.
